On September 28th, 2019, Ellevan posted a snippet of the song on his Instagram story, which Alli later reposted on hers.[1] Another snippet was posted on January 3rd, 2020..[2]
One day before its release, both Alli and Ellevan posted videos of them lip-syncing to the song.[3][4]
